Who we are
FOLLOW operates followtrades.live and is the data controller for the personal data described here. That means FOLLOW decides why and how your personal data is used.
Data we collect
Account data (email address, name if provided, login credentials or Google sign-in details); membership data (your plan, status and renewal dates); preferences (traders you watch); support messages you send us; and usage and device data (pages visited, IP address, browser and device identifiers, cookies). We do not store payment card details — Paddle handles payments.
Why we use it
To create and secure your account and provide the service (contract performance); to manage your membership and access (contract performance); to prevent fraud and abuse and keep the service secure (legitimate interests); to answer support requests (contract performance / legitimate interests); to improve the service using usage data (legitimate interests); and to meet legal obligations (legal obligation). Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
Who we share it with
Service providers who host and run the service (hosting, database, authentication, email and analytics); Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for selling the product, managing subscriptions, processing payments, tax compliance and invoicing; professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants; and authorities where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.
International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep account and membership data while your account is active and for as long as needed afterwards for legal, tax and dispute purposes. Usage data is kept for a limited period. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. We respond to requests within one month.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls and restricted database permissions, to protect your data.
Cookies
We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and the site working. Embedded content from YouTube, TikTok and TradingView may set their own cookies. You can manage or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may stop sign-in from working.
